That sounds just like Virginia Jeff! Must be a country thing. I saw an advertisement for raspberries in the newspaper the other day. I called to find out where it was and the lady didn't know. She finally coughed up the street number, but not the street name, so I couldn't Mapquest it. And she didn't know how to give me directions. Said, "When you get to the lake, follow the berry signs." (It was another five miles or so, left, right, this way and that.) Luckily Kurt figured it out and picked me up three pints of raspberries. Pure heaven!

Forget garage saling around here. I used to be the garage sale queen. Now I have to settle for stumbling upon them. There is never the name of the town in the newspaper. Only the roads. 9 a.m.--at the end of Walnut Road. Like you're supposed to know what town Walnut Road is in.

Or fundraisers and festivals and sales. They never say where it is! You're supposed to know!

Hmmm...I don't think I'll be visiting Fort Wayne any time soon, but they sure do have some lovely Victorian homes. And yay for good used book stores! Very nice to see you back, Jeff. I'm glad you had a good time, despite the difficulties.
